what to expect

Visitors are welcome! Sunday morning, Sunday evening and Wednesday!

Getting to know each other

We know meeting someone for the first time can be intimidating, and going to a new church for the first time can be nerve-racking. We want to help make your first experience as pleasant as possible!

If you visit our services here are a few things you can expect. You will soon be greeted with smiling faces of those who are truly glad to welcome you. You will be able to sit wherever you are comfortable... we don't have any assigned seats! Except those we are saving for your family!

Our services

We begin our Sunday morning services with a welcome and few short announcements. This is followed by a few songs that everyone is invited to sing (the lyrics are projected onto a screen). We have a prayer and then generally have a Bible reading in preparation for observing the Lord's Supper. This is a time when we reflect upon our Lord who died that we might be freed from our sin. Following the Lord's Supper we have message delivered to us by our preacher. Following the lesson an opportunity is given for anyone to respond and ask for prayers or make it known that they desire to be baptized to have their sins forgiven and live their lives for the Lord. Generally we close the service with a song and prayer.

Our members are also asked to contribute financially toward the work of the church. We certainly do not expect our visitors to do that.

What about my kids?

Bring them! Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me" (Matthew 19:14). Don't worry about them making noise. Everyone will just be excited to see them. If you have infants or toddlers, we do have a nursery you can take them to if you have that need. But really don't worry about them disrupting or making noise. We look at them being with us as a blessing! Children are a great priority. We have Bible classes specifically designed for them each week.
